We did it AGAIN. In July, 2017 we celebrated our 55th Wedding Anniversary. We rented a couple of cottages in Baldwin, Michigan and had a grand Celebration.

Emily graduated from The Ohio State University in May, 2018 and is teaching Special Ed in Jacksonville, Florida. Grace graduated from Kings High School in 2015 and is engaged to Charlie. She is busy working and planning a wedding in 2020. Paula made us all proud when she completed her degree in Marketing at Xavier University in the spring of 2016. Mike is in the insurance business.
Matt and Joy live in Richfield, MN. Matt is working at becoming self-employed in the financial services business and Joy is with Best Buy. They are both very involved in church and their kids’ activities. Their son, Eli, 17, is a senior at Richfield High School. He is on the Alpine Ski team and plays baseball in the spring. In the summer he is a member of The Spartan Drum Line and works for Bachman’s Nursery. Daughter Bella, 16, is a newly licensed driver. She is very active in softball, tennis and Nordic skiing. Eli is in band; both are regular honor roll students and members of the BSOA and GSOA. The entire family loves to downhill ski and travel. Matt is starting his 24th year officiating varsity high school football games as an umpire as well as some basketball.

Adam lives in Shakopee. He works for Rahr Malting, the biggest malting company in the country. Since beer is his beverage of choice, this seems to be a good fit. Adam’s son Xander is now 15, a sophomore at Washburn High School and an avid soccer player. He is tall and tireless on the soccer pitch.
Our grandchild population rose to 12 when Sarah gave birth to twin girls in December, 2016. Mazie and Ruby have changed Sarah and Kelly’s lives beyond their wildest dreams. They are in their “terrible twos” now, but as Mazie and Ruby say, “what’s so terrible about the twos, we are having a great time”. Kelly is now in her third year as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH and Sarah is a professor there. Needless to say, Facetime on the internet has been a great asset to our staying in touch.
The Jurewicz Family has been blessed.
